Please call me Demi or Demetria. I’ve put together this website to explain my interest in and practice of modern pagan Witchcraft as a spiritual path.

To me, Witchcraft is about finding and engaging with the magic that surrounds us; exploring the Mysteries of life and death, discovering the Divine immanent in all things, creating change in consciousness at will.

As well as pagan, priestess and Witch, I identify as white, feminist, queer, and kinky. These identities shape my worldview, ethics and spirituality.

In the mid-90s I started studying modern pagan Witchcraft, and I have been a priestess of my Goddess since 2004. My spirituality is a syncretic form of Witchcraft and through the years it has been influenced and inspired by many paths, including neo-Wicca, British Traditional Wicca, Goddess spirituality, cunning craft, the Church of All Worlds, Druidry, the Religio Romana, and the Reclaiming Tradition of Witchcraft.

I’m a panentheist by belief, but polytheist by practice. My gods are those of paradox and balance; the twin souls of star and shadow. My spiritual practice is ecstatic, celebratory and activist.

In daily practice, I worship a Celestial Goddess and Dual-Faced Horned God. Specific deities that I honour include Diana, Lucifer, Aradia, Demeter, Persephone, Hades, Hekate, Pan, Juno, Bacchus/Dionysus, Janus, Inanna, Ereshkigal, the Black Madonna, the Morrigan, Cerridwen, Arawn, Cernunnos, and Herne.

I live in Aotearoa New Zealand with my spouse and two kitty furbabies.
